Course Details

Let go of your artistic inhibitions and learn some fun techniques through play with shape, colour and texture! Be inspired and learn what makes great abstract art - we’ll reference a few artists over the course. They'll be lots of room to explore and develop your own style and confidence throughout the course! For the first 3-4 sessions we'll be working with a range of different materials, experimenting with colour, textures, layers and styles. We'll recreate a few of your favourite abstract artworks with your very own twist building a 'scrap book' of ideas and inspiration. In our last 2 weeks we'll use the work completed so far to inspire and further develop ideas into a final painting on canvas for you to hang on your bedroom wall!
